Reimagine Education in the Era of AI.
The current wave of AI innovation is built on top of a foundation of data, and even the best AI models are only as good as the data being used.
Microsoft wants to empower the next generation to be fluent not only in AI, but in the database foundations that dictate what algorithms are built and how they are used.
In that spirit, Microsoft is thrilled to announce the “AI Classroom” University Hackathon, a call to students worldwide to reimagine the Future of Education using Azure AI and Azure Databases.
Join students worldwide in building “intelligent applications” or solutions that use AI as a component of the experience. Full blown apps, prototypes, reference applications or schematic models are all welcome as submissions.
During this hackathon, you will have support and the resources to learn how to select a database, how to integrate AI in a technical or non-technical solution, and how to build an app using Azure AI and Azure Data Services.
Why Education?
AI is changing the world we live in in real-time, and nowhere will this change be more pronounced than for the next generation. How those next generations learn, and what technology is at their disposal, is one of the single biggest influences on the future we share.
Microsoft wants hackers to have the knowledge and resources to not only innovate—but to think big.
$11,000 in prizes are up for grabs along with the opportunity for mentorship within Microsoft, promotion on Microsoft owned and operated social channels, and have the opportunity to present their projects directly to executives.
